The Big Green Egg and everything that goes with it

The Big Green Egg is a ceramic kamado cooker, and its fans call it the Swiss Army knife of grilling. The thick walls hold heat steadily, which is why one cooker can run hot for a steak, low for a long smoke and anywhere in between. Mannix carries the full line, along with all the Egg-cessories that extend it.

The showroom floor has a whole row of open Eggs on the tile, so you can lift a lid, feel the hinge and see how the sizes compare before you pick one.

B.J. Mannix hosts Eggfests, community cookouts built around the Big Green Egg, and we keep hosting EggFests for anyone who wants to see what these cookers do in real hands.

Pellet, gas and the rest of the floor

Green Mountain Grills are wood-fired pellet grills. A digital controller manages the pellet flow, so you set a temperature and the grill feeds itself, and we supply the pellets and accessories. Traeger Wood Pellet grills and Weber Grills are on the floor too, along with Napoleon Grills.

If you are building a custom outdoor kitchen, Delta Heat makes built-in gas grills made for exactly that, and you can see how they sit in a counter before you plan yours. Blackstone griddles round out the floor for anyone who cooks breakfast for a crowd.

We also stock grill sauces and seasonings, so you can leave with something to cook the same day.

Pizza ovens, cooking classes and parts by mail

Alfa Ovens are made in Italy and fire with wood or gas, and they work indoors or out. If a pizza oven is on your list, Mannix is the place in Polk County to see one in person.

Come to our monthly cooking classes. All community members are welcome to participate, and it is the easiest way to learn a new grill before you buy it. Ask the shop for the next date at (863) 326-9656.

Grill parts are shipped to you anywhere, and if you want something we do not have on the floor, we will place special orders. The showroom at 3500 Cypress Gardens Rd, Winter Haven is open Monday to Friday 9 to 5 and Saturday 9 to 2.
